Safe Play Commitment

Responsible Gambling

Bersama4d believes that gambling is entertainment — nothing more. This page outlines the tools, resources and principles that underpin our commitment to safe, responsible play for all eligible Malaysian adults.

Gambling Should Always Be Your Choice

Responsible gambling is not a box to tick — it is a commitment that runs through everything bersama4d does. From the way we design our platform to the tools available on your account, we want every session to be one you are genuinely comfortable with.

For most Malaysian adults who enjoy bersama4d, gambling is a leisure activity. They follow EPL matches or Liga Super Malaysia fixtures, place a considered wager, enjoy the experience and move on with their day. That is exactly the kind of engagement we support — controlled, informed and kept well within personal means.

The risk arises when gambling shifts from recreation to habit, or when financial pressure begins to influence decisions. Bersama4d takes that risk seriously. We provide concrete tools — deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, cooling-off periods and full self-exclusion — so that every User retains meaningful control over how they engage with the platform.

We also believe in clear information. If you are gambling more than you planned, spending more MYR than you intended, or finding it difficult to stop, those are signals worth paying attention to. The self-assessment questions on this page and the support resources listed below are here to help you reflect honestly — not to judge.

The professionals at external support organisations know far more about problem gambling than any platform can convey in a few paragraphs. If you feel that your gambling is becoming difficult to control, we actively encourage you to reach out to those services. Their support is confidential, non-judgmental and available in Malaysia.

Bersama4d serves adults across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Penang, Johor Bahru, Shah Alam and beyond. Regardless of where you play from or how long you have been a User, our responsible gambling tools are always accessible through your account settings or by contacting our support team directly.

Gambling Is Entertainment

Treat every session as a leisure activity with a fixed budget — the same way you would approach a night out in Bangsar or a ticket to a sporting event.

Set Limits Before You Start

Decide how much you are willing to spend — in RM — before you deposit. Use bersama4d's deposit limit tool to enforce that decision automatically.

Never Chase Losses

Losing a wager is a normal part of gambling. Attempting to recover losses by increasing stakes or continuing past your planned session is one of the clearest warning signs.

Talk to Us Anytime

Contact [email protected] if you want to set limits, request a cooling-off period or initiate self-exclusion. All requests are handled promptly and with complete discretion.

Responsible Gambling Tools

These tools are available to all bersama4d Users and can be activated at any time via account settings or by contacting support directly.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much MYR you can deposit into your bersama4d account. Once a limit is set, it cannot be increased until a mandatory review period has elapsed. Requests to lower a limit take effect immediately.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum amount in RM that you are comfortable losing over a set period. Bersama4d will prevent further play once that threshold is reached for the designated window, helping you avoid spending beyond what you planned.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration so that the platform prompts you to review your play — or automatically logs you out — once your chosen time limit is reached. This is particularly useful for keeping live casino sessions in check.

Cooling-Off Period

Request a temporary break from bersama4d — ranging from 24 hours to several weeks — without permanently closing your account. During a cooling-off period, your account is suspended and no deposits or wagers can be placed.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel that a temporary break is not sufficient, you may request permanent or long-term self-exclusion from bersama4d. We will close your account, block any new registration attempts from your verified identity and return any verified account balance.

Reality Checks

Enable on-screen reminders that periodically display how long you have been playing and how much you have deposited during the current session. These prompts are designed to keep you aware and in control without interrupting play unnecessarily.

To activate any of these tools: Log in to your bersama4d account and navigate to Account Settings > Responsible Gambling, or contact our support team at [email protected]. Requests submitted by email are processed within one business hour. Limit reduction and self-exclusion requests are actioned immediately.

How Is Your Gambling?

The questions on this page are adapted from recognised problem gambling screening tools. They are not a clinical diagnosis — but honest answers can help you understand whether your gambling habits remain in healthy territory.

If you answer "yes" to three or more of these questions, we encourage you to take a break and consider reaching out to one of the support organisations listed below. There is no shame in seeking help early — it is the most effective time to act.

All bersama4d Users, whether based in Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Johor Bahru, have access to the same tools and support information regardless of their account level or deposit history.

Self-Assessment Questionnaire

Reflect honestly on your gambling habits over the past 12 months.

1

Have you ever spent more money gambling than you originally planned to for that session?

2

Have you gambled to try to win back money that you previously lost?

3

Have you borrowed money or sold belongings in order to fund your gambling?

4

Has gambling ever caused arguments, tension or stress in your relationships — with family members, a partner or close friends?

5

Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently, including planning future sessions or reliving past ones?

6

Have you tried to cut down or stop gambling but found it difficult to do so?

7

Have you ever hidden gambling activity or the amount you have spent from family, friends or a partner?

8

Has gambling negatively affected your work performance, studies or ability to meet day-to-day responsibilities?

If several of these resonate with you: You are not alone, and there is no need to manage this on your own. Please review the support resources below — particularly Talian Kasih and the Responsible Gambling Council of Malaysia. Early conversations make a real difference.

Warning Signs to Watch For

Gambling problems often develop gradually. These patterns are common indicators that play may have moved beyond healthy recreational territory. Recognising them early is the most important step.

Spending more on gambling than you can comfortably afford, or using money set aside for rent, bills or essential expenses

Feeling restless, irritable or anxious when you are not gambling — or when you try to reduce how much you play

Increasing the size of your wagers to maintain the same level of excitement or satisfaction from a session

Continuing to gamble even after deciding to stop, or returning to the platform very shortly after ending a session

Neglecting work, family commitments or personal health in order to spend more time gambling

Lying to people close to you about how often you gamble or how much you have deposited

Using gambling as a way to escape stress, loneliness, anxiety or difficult personal situations

Feeling guilt or shame after gambling sessions but returning to the platform despite those feelings

Using Bersama4D's Limit System

Our limits system is designed to put you in control. Here is how each tool functions in practice — so you can choose the right combination for your play style and financial situation.

Reducing a Limit

Any request to lower a deposit, loss or session limit takes effect immediately — no waiting period, no minimum notice required. If you decide you need a tighter cap, we act on that decision right away.

Increasing a Limit

Requests to increase a previously set limit are subject to a mandatory review period — typically 7 days — before they come into effect. This cooling-off window gives you time to reconsider before a higher limit is applied to your account.

Cooling-Off Periods

A cooling-off request suspends your account for the chosen duration. You cannot log in, deposit or wager during this time. The period runs from the moment it is activated, not from the date of the next scheduled check-in.

Self-Exclusion Process

Contact [email protected] to initiate self-exclusion. Once confirmed, your account is permanently suspended, your details are flagged to prevent re-registration, and any verified balance is returned to your designated payment method. This process is irreversible for the elected duration.

Account Verification

Bersama4d requires identity verification (KYC) on all accounts. This process confirms your age and identity, forming the primary layer of protection against underage access. If verification cannot be completed, access to deposit features is restricted.
